Rosenblatt Solicitors has hired Nabarro partner Andrew Kinsey to head up its real estate division.
Kinsey, ;who ;joined Nabarro as a partner from Linklaters in 2002, will lead a team of two partners, one assistant and two associates.
Rosenblatts ;senior partner Ian Rosenblatt said: “We’re using the current economic environment to hire people of exceptional talent and ability who, like us, see the opportunities that this market creates.”
The firm recently advised on a funding package for the construction of Europe’s tallest building, the Shard of Glass. Corporate partner David Fairfield advised the Sellar Property Group, which is partnering developers LBQ on the project.

Odd that...
...they are making 3 out of 5 lawyers in the real estate department redundant. Why wouold they need someone to 'head up' 2 associates?

... including a Partner who herself was perfectly capable of "heading up" said associates. I note that former head of property and partner, Peter Kay, is now a consultant. Let's hope Andrew Kinsey makes some serious rain otherwise he may find himself in a consultancy role this side of Christmas...
