Nabarro has made a second partner hire for its recently opened Singapore office with the appointment of Glenn Cheng from Norton Rose.
Cheng, formerly a partner at legacy Norton Rose firm Deacons, joined Nabarro as it announced the formal opening of the Singapore office. The office, for which Nabarro gained approval in September 2010, is led by Emerson Holmes.
Both Holmes and Cheng are construction specialists. Cheng’s practice includes oil and gas, civil and marine engineering, on- and offshore infrastructure and building projects as well as arbitration.
The partners will be initially supported by UK-qualified construction associate Zoe Stollard.
The move into Singapore (20 September 2010) was a strategically unusual move for Nabarro, which has only one other international office, in Brussels.
