Munby J to chair Law Commission

The Law Commission has announced Mr Justice Munby as its next chair.
Munby J succeeds Lord Justice Etherton, who has completed his three-year term of office. Munby J was called to the bar in 1972.
He took silk in 1988 and was appointed a High Court judge in the Family Division in 2000. The role of the Law Commission is to review the law in England and Wales and to recommend reform where needed.
