Müller seeks replacement as legal chief walks out

The head of Müller Dairy (UK)’s legal operations Florian Mattinson has resigned from the company.

Müller was unwilling to discuss any details surrounding his departure and would comment only that Mattinson had left “to pursue other career interests”.

The Lawyer understands that Mattinson has not yet moved into another legal role.

A spokesperson for the company told The Lawyer: “Florian’s been employed by Müller since 1998. He began as the company’s first lawyer in the UK and has been responsible for developing and growing the company’s legal function to meet the demands of the business.”

Mattinson established the legal department from scratch following his arrival from insurance broker Hubertus Clausius.

Müller currently has five staff in its UK legal team and is in the process of recruiting a replacement for Mattinson.
