This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Paul Hardman joins Morgan Cole as a partner in Bristol, along with Clarke Willmott corporate associate Mark Gilder.
The two lawyers will be joined by senior corporate partner Johnathan Rees, who has been posted from Morgan Cole’s Cardiff head office to lead the Bristol operation.
The new office will focus on corporate work, and is situated in Bristol’s Temple Quay development, which also houses regional big-hitter Osborne Clarke.
Morgan Cole also has offices in Reading, Oxford, Swansea and Croydon.
As reported by The Lawyer (3 July 2006), the firm elected Elizabeth Carr, formerly head of the insurance group, as its new managing partner last year, replacing IP specialist Alison Patten-Hall, who returns to the commercial group.
Robin Havard was re-elected chairman for a three-year term at the same time.
