Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw lawyers are not widely known as a bunch of stoners. Still, corporate partner Peter Dickinson appears to be doing his best to ramp up the firm's ganja credentials. Dickinson has just advised GW Pharmaceuticals on a £25m marketing deal with Bayer (advised by legendary caners Bristows) for the pioneering cannabis-based drug Sativex. Apparently, the 'gear' is administered by way of a spray into the mouth, so no Rizlas. According to Dickinson, however, there were no deals struck in darkened Amsterdam coffee shops.
