Morrison & Foerster is blazing ahead with the expansion of its Tokyo office after scooping a senior finance partner from Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy.
Tsugumichi Watanabe has worked in both New York and Tokyo and has over 20 years on acting on complex financing transactions. Morrison & Foerster is also taking on an extra floor at its offices in Tokyo allowing it to expand from its current 65 lawyers to 100 attorneys.
