This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
US firm Morrison & Foerster has entered the digital age with the launch on an iPhone application MoFo2Go.
The app, which is available as a free download, is one of the first of its kind to be developed by a corporate law firm.
MoFo2Go is divided into four function areas which allow its users to search for partner biographies, information on Morrison & Foerster office locations and nearby attractions.
The latest news from the firm is available to view via the app, as well as articles from its in-house magazine MoFo Tech. There is also a ‘play’ function on the app, featuring what the firm describes as a ‘maze game’.
Morrison & Foerster chair Keith Wetmore said the idea came after noticing that lawyers at the firm used their phones and handheld devices as “portable offices”.
“We realised that clients and others seeking information about the firm on a wide range of topics could benefit from a wireless application,” he said. “As a firm, we take pride in our tradition of innovation and leadership on the technology front.
“We’re extremely excited to be releasing MoFo2Go and look forward to developing additional functional areas and content.”
