San Francisco firm Morrison & Foerster (MoFo) has elected senior finance partner Keith Wetmore as the firm's new chair.
Wetmore assumed leadership of the 18-office firm on 1 November, after former chair Stephen Dunham completed his four-year term. Dunham will resume his litigation practice full time in the Denver office.
Wetmore says: "Under Stephen's visionary leadership, Morrison has earned the reputation as one of an elite group of law firms competing globally in technology and finance. My mission is to build on their position while maintaining excellence in client service and deepening our expertise in key practice areas globally."
The election comes during an expansion period for MoFo. Dunham's tenure saw the firm add five offices and double its lawyers to 965.
