Mishcon and RPC advise on Daily Mail harassment case
Phone-hacking victims’ lawyer Charlotte Harris is taking on another newspaper group in a case of alleged harassment by the press.

The Mishcon de Reya partner is instructed by Carine Trimingham, the partner of former energy secretary Chris Huhne.
The claimant alleges that Daily Mailpublisher Associated Newspapers breached her privacy and harassed her through articles about her following Huhne’s break-up with his wife Vicky Price.
Trimingham’s barristers are Matrix Chambers’ Matthew Ryder QC and 5RB’s William Bennett.
Her sexuality is the basis of the case in that she claims the Daily Mail made repeated references to her relationships with men and women during its reporting of Huhne’s affair.
The claims concerns articles that described her as “the PR girl in Doc Martens”.
Associated Newspapers has called in partner Jaron Lewis of Reynolds Porter Chamberlain, who has instructed Matrix Chambers’ Antony White QC and Alexandra Marzec of 5RB.
The trial started today and is listed for five days.
