The Minter Ellison brand name has swallowed up three firms in New Zealand, Thailand and on the Australian Gold Coast.
As part of a move to integrate associate firms and strengthen its regional brand, Rudd Watts & Stone in Auckland, Wellington, Matzger McGregor in Bangkok and Witheriff Nyst on the Gold Coast have now assumed the Minters name. Minter Ellison chief executive officer Phil Clark explained that although the firms had clients in common, there had been confusion as to whether they were being offered a seamless service. The changes therefore reflect the need to show the firm's clients that their work is handled by just one entity.
