New finance partner Nigel Clark becomes only the third partner in London, following in the footsteps of office-founder Michael Whalley and local managing partner Robert Hanley.

“It’s an investment by the Minter Ellison partnership in the business abroad,” Clark told The Lawyer.

“The bulk of our work is assisting UK and US firms on global deals which have an Australian piece but we also do some English work for Australian clients coming over here. Now, we want to grow the business,” he said.
