Mills & Reeve has promoted three lawyers to partner, boosting its partnership headcount to 97.
The insurance practice has gained two new partners in the shape of David Gooding and Neil Howes, while Stephen Hamilton has been made up in corporate finance.
Gooding, who is based in Birmingham, has been at Mills & Reeve for nine years, having joined from Squire Sanders Hammonds legacy firm Hammonds in 2002.
Leeds-based Howes used to be a lawyer in Mills & Reeve’s London office before leaving to join Walker Morris. He returned to Mills & Reeve last year.
Hamilton, who joined Mills & Reeve from Norton Rose in 2006, is based in the firm’s Cambridge office.
Managing partner Guy Hinchley said in a statement: “These appointments will provide additional partner resource across the offices to develop these markets further.”
