Mills & Reeve has promoted seven to its partnership, three of whom have been made up in Birmingham in line with the firm's pledge to increase its capability in the second city.
According ;to ;Mark Jeffries, the firm's senior partner, Birmingham is a high-priority investment.
"We've been there since 1998 and have gradually extended our reach across the practice areas," he said.
The lawyers will join the partnership on 1 June, with Dawn Braithwaite, Martino Giaquinto and Richard Sykes joining the Birmingham healthcare, construction and education practices respectively. The firm is also making two promotions in Cambridge, which functions as a hub for the firm because it is its largest and most central office, as well as one in London and one in Norwich.
Last year Mills & Reeve promoted a total of four partners, divided equally between its Birmingham and Cambridge offices.
