Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy has ramped up its Asian private equity practice was the appointment of Ed Sun from Goldman Sachs.
Sun, who joins the firm as of counsel, was previously general counsel for the Non-Japan Asia operations of Goldman Sachs' $US5.2 billion global private equity fund.
Prior to his time at the investment bank, Sun was counsel in the Hong Kong office of Davis Polk & Wardwell.

"His experience at Goldman combined with his first hand knowledge of the Asian markets will enable us to further strengthen our capabilities in private equity, capital markets and distressed debt."
