Milbank lures A&O partner

Capital markets partner Andrew Brodie joins Milbank’s London office

Allen & Overy (A&O) has lost its second partner to a US firm in less than a week. Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy has hired A&O capital markets partner Andrew Brodie.
Brodie will join Milbank’s London office as a partner on 1 December, strengthening its structured finance and capital markets capabilities.
Brodie has been a partner at A&O since 1990. He has relationships with a number of existing clients of Milbank, such as Citibank, Schroder Salomon Smith Barney, JP Morgan Chase, Deutsche Bank, Abbey National and Barclays.
At A&O the partner loss follows that of banking partner Euan Gorrie to Simpson Thacher & Bartlett.
