Merry Christmas from The Lawyer

It has been a fantastic year for most of us involved in the legal market.

On the back of an M&A boom, Slaughter and May looks set to become the first UK firm to record a take-home of more than £2m for top-earning partners, while earlier in the year Pinsent Masons boosted its PEP by 70 per cent.

The Lawyer even managed to get a piece of the action, with Lawyer News Daily helping to boost the number of unique users on thelawyer.com by 51.2 per cent to more than 125,000.
