Lancashire law firms Marsdens and Rawsthorns have merged to form one of the largest commercial teams in the North West region.
Following the announcement of plans to join forces in March, the new firm, Marsden Rawsthorn was launched officially on May 1st.
The firm will have 105 staff spread across offices in Preston, Fulwood and Chorley and plans to move into markets further afield.
Marsden Rawsthorn partner Charles Maher said: “Both Marsdens and Rawsthorns were very well established in the region… Given the complementary nature of our strengths and culture this is an excellent opportunity to bolster capacity and realise the potential of both businesses.”
The Rawsthorn merger is the latest in a long line for Preston-based Marsdens. Other firms it has absorbed include Hodgson & Son, James Jukes Dodd & Company, Ryan Heatons, and Bamber, Langley, Milner.
