Memery Crystal

UK 200 position: 122

London-based Memery Crystal went from strength to strength in 2011–12, posting a 14 per cent rise in turnover, from £15.1m to £17.2m. This follows further improvement on the previous year’s figures, when turnover rose by 21 per cent, from £12.5m to £15.1m.

It was a particularly good year for corporate and property, with the firm landing roles on several key retail transactions, including acting for the Garden Centre Group when it was sold by Lloyds Banking Group to Terra Firma Capital Partners.

Memery Crystal also continued its reign as the UK’s number one firm for the number of AIM-listed clients. Elsewhere it increased its growth in litigation revenue for the third year running.

Memery Crystal recently gained a number of new clients in the oil and gas sector and its focus is set to increase during the current financial year following its move to launch a dedicated Africa desk in mid-2012.
