Memery Crystal has beaten LG, Norton Rose and Pinsent Masons to storm to the top of a ranking of firms by number of Aim-listed clients for the first time.
The latest Hemscott Aim rankings for the three months to July show Memery Crystal has jumped from eighth place in October 2007, when the rankings first appeared, at which time it lagged Norton Rose by 20 clients.
Memery Crystal now has 47 Aim-listed clients, gaining six in the last quarter, including Kolar Gold, Red Emperor Resources and Strategic Natural Resources. Pinsent Masons is in second place on 43 clients, with LG third on 41.
LG, Norton Rose and Pinsent Masons have dominated the quarterly rankings since they began. Pinsent Masons has held the top spot for 11 issues, including two in joint top position, with Norton Rose leading the pack on three occasions.
LG has also come out highest by Aim client numbers three times, with two as joint leader.
