Leading Scottish firm McGrigors has lost the head of its corporate practice to private equity house West Coast Capital.
Paul Davidson will be joining West Coast Capital at the end of Janaury 2006 as its third partner.
During his time a McGrigors Davidson advised West Coast Capital and venture philanthropy The Hunter Foundation, both were founded by Sir Tom Hunter, on virtually every transaction the partnership has been involved in.
“The combination of a sharp legal brain complimented by a strong commercial focus makes Paul the ideal addition to the team. In football parlance he strengthens the midfield with an ability to strike at the right moment,” said Hunter.
