Wragge & Co has beaten City rivals to win lucrative property work from fast food giant McDonald's.
The Birmingham firm will work alongside Forsters on the development of 100 sites over the next year.
McDonald's head of legal Julian Hilton-Johnson says: "This is a big slice of work and I thought it would be advantageous to introduce a new firm on a small, and to start with, trial basis in addition to Forsters. I have dealt with Wragges in the past and they have impressed me."
McDonald's does not have a panel, but regularly uses Forsters and Eversheds.
Wragges' property partner Peter Thorn says: "We have been instructed to work with a few properties on a trial basis. It is very early days yet. We are obviously very pleased to be considered."
Two partners, one associate and an assistant, will handle the account, he says.
