McDermott Will & Emery has launched a redundancy consultation with nine members of staff in its London office.
Three fee earners' jobs are under review together with six support staff across marketing, IT and secretarial departments.
A spokesperson was not able to comment on whether outplacement services are being offered as part of the redundancy packages proposed. She added that outplacement would be "treated on an individual basis".
This follows on from news last week that the firm would be making up to 149 job cuts across its US network (3 February).
