Mcdermott lands bnp paribas CDO work

McDermott Will & Emery won a pitch to advise BNP Paribas on the multi-currency collateralised debt obligation (CDO) of leveraged loans for Pemba Credit Advisers.

Partner Steven Black led the team advising the bank as the lead arranger on the ?558m (£379.76m) CDO for Pemba Credit Advisers, a subsidiary of hedge fund manager Man Group.

The structure of the deal allowed for investment in a number of major currencies across a wide range of debt instruments.

Linklaters, led by partner Joan Ma, advised Pemba on the transaction.
