MBR&M star ends 20-year stint

Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw (MBR&M) securitisation specialist Mark Nicolaides has left the firm after more than 20 years. It is understood that he is yet to sign with another firm but is in advanced negotiations about his next position. The reasons for his departure are unclear, but sources believe that Nicolaides left to seek a bigger platform for his practice. He has been based in Europe since the 1980s and led the firm's charge on securitisation in the region.
