MBA scholarship worth £18,000 up for grabs

Durham University Business School has opened a competition to students enrolling on its January 2013 executive MBA programme to win a full-fee scholarship worth £18,000.
The executive MBA is studied for two years part-time with teaching structured into 4-day blocks (normally Wednesday to Saturday), approximately every six weeks - the programme and competition are open to UK and international students.
To be eligible for the competition, candidates must hold an unconditional offer for the school’s executive MBA Programme and must submit a 500-word essay by the scholarship deadline of 17 December 2012 answering the following question:
“The Investment Management Association recently warned that having executives locked in combat with shareholders about executive pay at every round of annual meetings ‘would not be healthy’ for the UK economy” (Financial Times on-line June 19/06/12). Discuss the key issues associated with executive remuneration highlighted by this debate.
Entries will be judged by a panel of business school faculty and university international office staff.
Candidates for the scholarship must be self-funded - not company sponsored.
