Mayer Brown real estate finance chief quits

Mayer Brown’s real estate finance head Iain Thomas has left the firm to pursue a career at LG.
Thomas will join LG as a partner on 1 January 2010 after 16 years at Mayer Brown, 11 as a partner. Thomas acts primarily for lenders in the financing and restructuring areas. He also represents real estate investors, developers and corporate end-users, both domestic and international.

He is not the first decent MB lawyer to throw in the towel and he will not be the last.
