  • The london office is in decline and has been for the last 3-4 years. Vast amounts of talent has fled the office or is attempting to do so. I put this down to a lack of clear leadership and bad decision making. Individuals of immense capability have been ousted who should be running the office. The office is in dire need of a man/woman with clear vision and a track record of successfully running law firms. Someone who can turn this office around. It's time for a change at the top.

    Otherwise turnover and headcount will continue to diminish. No credible party will merge with Mayer Brown in its current state.
