Mayer Brown nets FFW construction head

Mayer Brown is ploughing ahead with it expansion programme with the appointment of Field Fisher Waterhouse's construction head Chris Fellowes.

Fellowes' move marks a return to the firm where he trained. He spent six years at legacy firm Rowe & Maw before leaving in 2001.

Fellowes will start in the New Year, transferring a practice focused on legal advice to property developers, real estate funds and contractors on construction projects.

The firm made up 10 partners in the City last month, the most of all US law firms with UK practices.
