Mayer Brown has launched a competition and distribution practice in Paris with the hire of a new practice head.
Partner Nathalie Jalabert-Doury has joined the firm from Carreras Barsikian Robertson & Associés, where she spent five years as a partner. Before that she worked at Jeantet Associés.
The managing partner of Mayer Brown’s Paris office, Jean Philippe Lambert, said: “With Nathalie’s arrival, we can now assist clients faced with issues relating to competition distribution, both internationally - working in conjunction with our offices in Washington, Hong Kong or Brussels - as well as in France.
“The move to hire Nathalie is part of our ongoing expansion process, which includes the arrival of Andrew Armfelt in the real-estate department and Christophe Ayela and Renaud Semerdjian in litigation.”
