Matrix bags ex-Freshfields solicitor-advocate

Matrix Chambers has boosted its academic expertise with the arrival of a former Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer solicitor-advocate. Zachary Douglas left Freshfields' Paris office, where he practised international arbitration, last summer to become a lecturer in international law at University College London. He has now been called to the bar and becomes Matrix's ninth academic member. Douglas's experience includes acting for the International Olympic Committee in drug cases arising out of the Salt Lake City and Athens Olympic Games. Joanne Harris
