Masons Thelen Reid, the joint venture vehicle established by Masons and US firm Thelen Reid & Priest, has bolstered its Middle East practice by linking up with an Iraqi law firm.
Masons Thelen Reid had already been working closely throughout 2003 with Iraq-based attorney Salam Abdullah and his firm, Salam Abdullah & Partners. However now the two have entered into a formal association.
“Since early last year we have been closely following developments in Iraq,” said Stephen O’Neal, the managing partner of Masons Thelen Reid. “Like many of our international clients, we see Iraq as an important market for international construction, engineering and infrastructure work in the next 10 years.”
