Masons has moved into its second European jurisdiction by forming an alliance with Madrid firm Buxeda Menchen

Buxeda Menchen has 19 lawyers, including six partners, and will continue to practise only Spanish law. The Spanish firm's managing partner, ex-Denton International lawyer Javier Lasa, will continue to run the tied office.
Masons, which had only a Brussels office in Europe before this link, wants to open in Spain to gain a Latin American foothold, where it wants to sell its construction expertise.
"We see Spain as a way in to Latin America. Latin America has so many infrastructure projects going on, and Spanish companies are the largest investors in the region," said Masons partner and management board member Tony Bunch.
