Masons pulls plug on Irish branch

Masons is closing its Dublin office, with two of its local partners moving to A&L Goodbody.

Construction and projects specialists Eamonn Conlon and Dudley Solan are leaving for the Irish firm.

The seven assistants in the office and all the support staff are yet to find a home, but have been offered jobs within Masons’ international network.

Masons senior partner Martin Harman said the firm would continue to work with Conlon and Solan at A&L Goodbody.

No Irish firm has a formal association with an English firm, and it is not thought that Masons and A&L Goodbody will enter into anything more than an informal referral relationship.
