Masons' Bristol projects team has been cut to one partner following the resignation of Iain Fairbairn, who will join Beachcroft Wansbroughs as a partner in the New Year.
According to Masons, Fairburn wants to concentrate on acting for the NHS and other public sector bodies and is moving to Beachcrofts to strengthen that side of its practice. Catherine Vickers is now Masons' only Bristol-based projects partner.
Fairbairn joined Masons two years ago from Bevan Ashford, where he was instrumental in building the firm's PFI practice. He also helped develop a health sector projects practice. During that period the firm has developed its projects work, acting on major transactions for NHS trusts. It has also expanded its practice and acts for consortia and other major public sector organisations such as the Ministry of Defence.
John Bishop, Masons' senior partner, says: "Iain has made a val-uable contribution to the firm and we wish him well in his new role."
