This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Cardiff-based M and A Solicitors (M&AS) has bagged a partner from Capital Law to build up its property practice.
Jonathan Geen becomes M&AS’s sixth partner, joining at the end of a record year for the five-year-old firm. Turnover was up by more than £500,000 to £2.6m, with Geen’s hire expected to further increase income.
Geen’s clients at Capital Law included Vale of Glamorgan Council and Associated British Ports.
Capital Law managing partner Chris Nolt said: “Capital Law operates a team of commercial property lawyers and wants to consolidate and develop in that team as a whole rather than focus the business on any one individual.”
