Martineau has posted a 7 per cent turnover hike for the first half of the 2011-12 financial year as it gears up for a merger with Sprecher Grier Halberstam.
The Birmingham and London firm is expecting to go ahead with its merger with Sprecher Grier on 1 December, creating SGH Martineau with offices in Birmingham, London and Brussels (12 September 2011).
Martineau launched in Brussels in October after signing an agreement with German firm Becker Büttner Held, which had been in the city since the beginning of 2011 (18 October 2011).
The firm said SGH had not announced half-year results but had reported strong trading.
Martineau managing partner Bill Barker said: “As we complete our merger with SGH, this improvement in our business performance allows us to be optimistic of maintaining this level of growth. It confirms we have the right business model for the current economy.”
