Marc Sunnen
Marc Sunnen has been the resident partner in charge of Arendt & Medernach’s Brussels office since 1995. He is a partner in the corporate law and mergers and acquisitions practice, where he specialises primarily in structured finance, including asset-based transactions and project finance, banking and financial law, mergers and acquisitions, investment fund work and general corporate law.

Sunnen has been a member of the Luxembourg and Brussels Bar since 1980.
He holds a Master’s degree in law from the Université de Droit, d’Economie et des Sciences d’Aix-Marseille in France and a Master of Laws degree (LL.M) from Georgetown University in Washington, DC.
Following the completion of his legal education, he worked as an associate with Coudert Brothers in New York and Brussels.
He speaks English, French and German and a reading knowledge of Dutch.
