Management roles announced for post-merger Howard Kennedy FSI

FSI corporate head Ashley Reeback will continue in that position for the merged firm from 1 November. Howard Kennedy’s litigation head Craig Emden will also stay in his current role leading the combined department.

The combined firm will have 88 partners and 125 fee-earners, and a total revenue of £45m, pushing it into the top 60 of The Lawyer UK 200.

The two firms enetered into talks in February (8 August 2012).

The merger is being led by Howard Kennedy chief executive Mark Dembovsky and FSI managing partner Paul Millett.

Dembovsky will head the merged firm as chief executive, with Millett one of six partners – three from either firm – on an integration committee for 12 months.

Emden, current Howard Kennedy corporate chief Michael Harris, and property head Jason Lewis will sit on the committee. A further two FSI partners will join them, it is yet to be decided who.

A management committee comprising four partners will be established a year after the merger is completed.
