Australia’s Mallesons Stephen Jacques is set to appoint a new chief executive following the current incumbent’s new role as managing director and chief executive of the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX).
Tony D’Aloisio has held the post at Mallesons for 13 years. He is expected to take up his new role at the ASX in October.
Mallesons is currently in the process of appointing a new head. Chairman Robyn Chalmers said, “We have known for some time that Tony would not be seeking another term. We are therefore well advanced in choosing his successor.”
The firm is expected to announce his replacement in July or August.
