Mallesons' managing partner to assume chief exec role
Australian firm Mallesons Stephen Jaques has announced that managing partner Stuart Fuller will succeed Robert Milliner as chief executive.
Fuller, who will assume the role from 1 January 2012, was appointed at a partner meeting on 30 March and is now working on the handover with Milliner.
Tim Bednall, Mallesons’ chairman, said: “Stuart brings to the role a broad range of skills and an outstanding reputation for delivering for clients and the firm. He has been a key member of the management team for five years and understands intimately the firm, its clients and the international markets in which we operate. All these skills will ensure that we remain a leading firm in the Asian region.”
Fuller joined Mallesons in 1990, made partner in 1998 and was named managing partner in 2006. Fuller specialised in securitisation and structured finance and is the chairman of the Australian Securitisation Forum.
“The firm’s in a terrific position, and I plan to lead a team that’s restless and relentless about achieving our next goals,” said Fuller.
