Maitland Chambers joint head of chambers Michael Lyndon-Stanford QC ;is ;to ;stand ;down, leaving Michael Driscoll QC as the set's sole head.
Lyndon-Stanford has chosen to stand down due to his decision to retire from practice later this year.
Driscoll said Lyndon-Stanford will be missed by clients, colleagues and clerks alike, ;adding: ;"I ;look forward to the continued development and success of Maitland Chambers in these times of significant change."
Robert Graham-Campbell said Driscoll will oversee the set's plans to consolidate its position in commercial and chancery work in the UK and internationally.
"We're encouraged by favourable market conditions for litigation resulting from the current wave of economic uncertainty," said Graham-Campbell. "In addition, new developments - for example the emergence of third-party litigation funding - are also positive."
