Maitland adds to London team with Boodle Hatfield hire

Offshore and wealth services firm Maitland has hired a partner from Boodle Hatfield as it continues to build its private client offering in London.
Karen Marks joins Maitland after three years as a partner at Boodle Hatfield, having joined the firm from LG in 2008.
Marks specialises in international tax and trust planning, advising a range of clients including entrepreneurs, international families, offshore trustees, banks and financial institutions.
The hire follows the arrival earlier this year of Withers funds partner John Langan and PricewaterhouseCoopers private client specialist Hed Amitai as partners at Maitland’s London office (14 July 2011).
Maitland offers legal services in England, the Isle of Man, Luxembourg and South Africa as well as providing trust, wealth management and fund administration services worldwide.
