Magisters sets up shop in Kazakhstan

Ukrainian firm Magisters has extended its international ­presence by opening an office in Kazakhstan.

The Astana office will be staffed by five lawyers and headed by arbitration partner Marta Khomyak, with further expansion planned. Khomyak said: “The Kazakhstan market remains attractive to international investors despite the current challenges in the global economy.

The office will also serve as a hub for our clients ­throughout the region.” In December last year Magisters moved to Belarus by merging with local firm BelJurBureau.
