MacRoberts’ head of corporate has quit the firm, becoming the sixth partner to leave in the past six months.
Neil Cunningham, lawyer to clients including AWG, CVC and Nomura will leave the firm at the end of April for an as yet unknown destination. His role will be taken over by the firm’s chairman Ian Dickson.
Cunningham is the sixth partner to leave MacRoberts in the past year. The firm now has 25 partners.
Lindy Patterson MacRoberts’ joint managing partner and head of construction left for Dundas & Wilson in October before being followed by private equity partner David Davidson who joined the firm in November.
Last summer corporate partner Jim McGinn left to set up his own firm, while corporate partner Keith Patterson joined Brodies and construction partner Neil Wilson went to Newcastle’s Robert Muckle.
