This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
The new team is headed by tax and succession specialist Leigh Gould, who joins from Aberdeen rival Paull & Williamsons.
Gould, who began her career as a trainee at Maclays, will cover all aspects of private client work.
The move follows last month's acquisition of the corporate and property teams of Aberdeen-based firm Iain Smith & Co.
Andrew Biggart, the head of Maclays' national private client team, said: "We believe there's increasing demand for good-quality estate planning advice in the Aberdeen market and are delighted that Leigh has returned to help us meet this demand."
