Maclay Murray & Spens has launched a private client practice in its Aberdeen office.
The new team is headed by tax and succession specialist Leigh Gould, who joins from Aberdeen rival Paull & Williamsons.
Gould, who began her career as a trainee at Maclays, will cover all aspects of private client work.
The move follows last month’s acquisition of the corporate and property teams of Aberdeen-based firm Iain Smith & Co.
Andrew Biggart, the head of Maclays’ national private client team, said: “We believe there’s increasing demand for good-quality estate planning advice in the Aberdeen market and are delighted that Leigh has returned to help us meet this demand.”
