Macfarlanes private client star resurfaces at Maitland

Maitland, the South African trusts advisory group that took on Linklaters partner Rupert Weber, has also hired former Macfarlanes partner Michael Hayes.
Hayes, formerly a partner in the City firm’s highly rated private client department, will join as a part-time consultant next month. He retired from Macfarlanes in April, but while at the firm often worked with Maitland on matters for mutual clients.
