South East firm Matthew Arnold & Baldwin (MAB) has hired five new partners, with three joining the City office it opened in late 2005.
Non-executive management chair Moira Myers said: "We've talked a lot about growth and the importance of these hires is to show people that we mean what we say."
AIM specialist Joss Alcraft joined the London office as a corporate partner from media firm Michael Simkins, where he has was also a partner. Sharokh Kassari joined in London as a corporate partner from West End firm Simons Muirhead & Burton, where he was a partner, as did Ronaldo Sallows, who was a partner at Howard Kennedy.
The hires have taken MAB's City office to five partners, with a total of eight lawyers. Myers said the base would grow to 12 lawyers within 12 months.
In addition, Robert Davidson joined the Watford office as a corporate partner from Harrow commercial property boutique Harold Benjamin, where he was partner and head of corporate, and Norton Rose employment associate Adam Fuge joined the Milton Keynes office as a partner.
Clifford Chance banking senior associate Joanne Ludham joined the Watford office as a litigation senior associate.
