Benelux firm Loyens & Loeff has promoted five associates to partner in its Netherlands and Luxembourg offices.
In Rotterdam Remco Bäcker and Jan-Willem van Rooij are made up. Bäcker is a competition lawyer specialising in environmental and spatial planning and construction law. Van Rooij is a corporate lawyer advising on international and domestic matters.
Jan Bart Schober and Klaas Wiersma join the partnership in Amsterdam. Schober is a member of the firm’s international tax group, mainly advising oil and gas companies. Wiersma practises employment law.
Additionally, Thibaut Partsch becomes a partner in the firm’s Luxembourg office. The investment management specialist focuses on private equity fund structuring.
